WeView’s Battery Connected to Grid in Shangrao, Jiangxi

In October 2022, WeView successfully connected a 200kW/600kWh smart energy storage project to the grid and commenced operations in Shangrao, Jiangxi. A 200kW/600kWh zinc-iron flow battery was integrated into the grid after the voltage was increased to 10kV through a power conversion system and an isolating step-up transformer.

WeView’s energy storage system, in conjunction with the existing 20MW photovoltaic power station, forms an integrated PV+ energy storage system. This system is capable of performing various functions, including power tracking, peak shaving and valley filling, planning curve management, fluctuation smoothing, and voltage regulation.

WeView’s zinc-iron flow battery is extremely safe and environmentally friendly, with a long operating life of 20 years and ultra-low cost per kWh in diverse applications. Additionally, WeView’s GS200 series can meet the needs of various long-duration energy scenarios, including renewable power generation, grid support, and end-user applications.
